What to expect on the day of the procedure?
The entire procedure of AHT is done within a single day. The first thing that is done is that grafts are extracted from the donor area of the patient. The grafts are then counted, separated into a single, double, and triple strand graft, and kept in the special growth factor solution. This special growth factor improves the survival rate of grafts. Once this is done then the grafts are implanted in the predetermined pattern to give you the perfect hairline and cover the bald areas. This procedure usually takes 6-8 hours.
