A useful consultation should clarify your concerns, available options and the reasons for a proposed plan. Use this checklist when preparing for a Monaris appointment in Delhi or Indore.
Prepare your records
Bring older photographs, details of previous hair procedures, treatments tried, current medicines, allergies and relevant medical records. Note when thinning started and what you most want to improve. Ask the clinic which photographs are useful for an initial online discussion and how to share them.
Understand the assessment
Ask the doctor about the cause of your hair loss, whether further assessment is needed, and whether transplantation or another approach is appropriate. Donor suitability and realistic expectations need an individual assessment. The American Academy of Dermatology explains the role of scalp examination and donor assessment.
Confirm responsibilities and limitations
At Monaris, extraction and recipient-site slits are performed by Dr. Arihant Surana or the main surgeon. Confirm the operating surgeon and who performs each remaining stage. Request a written plan covering the proposed procedure, treatment area, graft estimate, alternatives, risks and limitations. The NHS hair transplant guide outlines questions about the surgeon, complications and follow-up.
Check the quotation and follow-up
Keep the clinical plan beside a dated quotation. Confirm what is included, what may cost extra, who to contact after treatment and which reviews require attendance. Read the cost information and request current fees for your own plan.
